By checking agree, I state that I have viewed Tanae Sorenson photographer's (TSP) online portfolio (www.tanaesorenson.com) and am aware of the photographer's artistic style. I understand that my images will be documentary and photojournalistic in nature and (while edited in personal and professional style) will not be posed or heavily photoshopped. For example: head swaps, adding in or taking out bodies, items, or articles in a frame, color popping, adding makeup, etc. If I wish to do any of the above mentioned "heavy edits", I understand it will not be included in my overall photography service and TSP may refuse to make additional heavy edits or accept a heavy edit request for an additional fee. The photographer is the artistic director and documenter of the shoot. The photographer will do her best to capture mentioned shot lists, details, etc, but does not guarantee to deliver all requested images or images where everyone is smiling and looking at the camera.

Digital Negatives, Prints, & Copyrights *

The photographs, digital negatives or prints produced by TSP are protected by International Copyright Law (all rights reserved) and TSP retains the copyright to all photos and images produced. The Client will receive a copy of the hi-res digital photographs (50 minimum) of the Event. Client may reproduce any photos in any manner they like for internal and external purposes. The Client agrees to obtain written permission from the Photographer prior to the Client (or its assigned agents) publishing or selling the photographs for profit.

Event Expectations *

The Client will provide TSP with a list of suggested photographs that they desire in advance. While every attempt is made to accommodate the Client’s desired list of photographs and create the best images possible, no particular image is guaranteed.

Model Release *

The Client hereby grants TSP the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of the Event, its guests, attendees, and officials for editorial, trade, advertising, stock, commercial and any other purpose and in any manner and medium; to alter the same without restriction; and to copyright the same. The Client hereby releases TSP from all claims and liability relating to said photographs.

Policies & Photography Agreement (READ IN FULL) *

Thank you for choosing me to capture your Event! These policies are in place so that there are no surprises. I want your experience to be the best possible. ~ Event Retainer: A $150 retainer (which goes toward the total cost of your photography services) will secure your booking. The remaining price of your event will be due no later than 1 week prior the event date. ~ Cancellations or need to reschedule: Life happens. Illness, rain, and unexpected events come up. Please give me as much notice as possible if a need to reschedule or a change of plans to your event comes up. I, Tanae (TSP) will exchange the same courtesy should an unlikely and unexpected life event come up. ~ Photographer Substitution: In the extremely unlikely event of severe personal illness or other extreme acts of nature beyond the control of TSP which precludes the photographer from performing the duties of coverage, TSP will attempt to arrange for a substitute photographer of high qualification, per client approval of said photographer. The client and TSP both assume the risks and dangers of the photographer's travel and if the extremely unlikely event a last-minute Act of Nature or travel disaster occurs while TSP is en route to the event, the photographer will refund the client all monies paid, minus the retainer. ~ Online Gallery: Within 2 months of your event, a private, password protected gallery will be available to view your images. Your session includes a gallery of hand edited images. TSP will choose the best images for your gallery. Your gallery will be available for viewing, downloading, and ordering for 3 weeks. ~ Your high resolution digital files will be delivered to your email via direct download on the day your gallery is released. Please back up your files. ~Payment options: Payment is available via cash, check, credit, debit, Venmo or ask discussed with TSP.
